• Compilation and control of detailed planning programmes using MS project and Sciforma

• The supply of personnel to assist the Client in performing plant shutdown/maintenance window related work as per the contract

To prepare, review, approve and obtain client authorisation for project execution in accordance with contractual requirements.

This will include:

• Planning and scheduling
• Work Package and Work Plan preparation
• Control of engineering, working and follow-up documents as per project scope
• Management and interfaces with the client and sub-contractors
• Placement of orders for material and sub-contractor activities

• Expediting of procurement activities

To implement projects in compliance with the Client QMS. As most of the projects managed by this organisation will be implemented by the use of sub-contractors specialised in their own field of competency, this work area of this organisation will mainly perform an assurance function to ensure engineering and client requirements are met.

This will include:

• Withdrawal of material from store and transmit to sub-contractor
• Control the execution of the project installation according to the working documents, e.g. execution includes welding, mechanical, electrical and civil activities
• Record construction progress in the applicable installation check-list or project plan/schedule
• Notify relevant parties, internal to the organisation as well as the client, of surveillance as per the requirements of the Quality Control Plans (QCP)
• Ensure safety plans are adhered to
• Control housekeeping
• Manage sub-contractors
• Supervise relations with subcontractors
• Monitor and control project progress
• Testing and commissioning
• Finalisation of the project and handover

The Manager of Construction has full delegation from the MD to implement structures and processes to perform construction services.
