With oil seeps found in Limpopo near Louis Trichardt/Makhado, attention has been called in the area due to various reports of hydrocarbon findings in both shallow water boreholes and the presence of live oil on the surface during rainy seasons.
Booi Brothers Petroleum (BBP) is continuing exploring surrounding areas around ER262 under TCP208 for any possible results similarly attained in ER262. Booi Brothers Petroleum (BBP) is currently planning to drill in ER262 as per Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) report.
